2023 will will be the 20th Anniversary for the Omega Pepper Festival. The second weekend in September comes alive with peppers, kids discovery zone, vendors and entertainment in our small town of Omega, Georgia. The annual Pepper Festival is an important event for our community and surrounding area. Each year we host many vendors displaying and selling their creations, food vendors, kids' activities and musical entertainment featuring artists from our area and more widely known talent. The highlight of the event is Saturday morning's parade. It boasts high numbers of parade participants from antique tractors to horses, from walking units to floats. 2023 plans also include a South of The Border Evening at the Pepper Festival, to engage Omega's large Hispanic population in the festivities.
