Central Florida may now celebrate its backdrop for the upcoming “The Pork & Wings BBQ Bash and Competition!” The event will be held Friday, June 8th - (5:00 pm to 10:00 pm), and Saturday, June 9th - (11:00 am to 10:00 pm) at the Central Florida Fairgrounds located at 4603 West Colonial Drive in Orlando, FL.
With BBQ Season’s official kickoff beginning Memorial Day weekend, attending this years’ “Pork & Wings BBQ Bash and Competition!” is a great time to taste the flavors, see the cooking demonstrations, and check out the latest grills and accessories to enhance everyone’s grilling experience.
This years’ bash will include cooking demonstrations, a sports tent, kid zone, various contests and tournaments, live entertainment, dance instruction, and fabulous giveaways. In addition, over $5,000 in prize money is up for grabs for BBQ teams looking to compete for bragging rights! What is unique to this event is the inclusion for the category of “wings” for the best taste among the competitors. There will also be the standard competition categories of Ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, and chicken.
