Steve Griggs Band is a working traditional Country Music Band consisting of all top notch musicians. Their last album received much acclaim and was winner of the Academy of Western Artists Album of the year award. Steve and his band were nominated Singer of the year and band of the year for several awards organizations and is regularly in the top ten on radio stations world-wide. Steve recently recorded with the legendary Leon Rausch (of Bob Wills' Texas Playboys) on the title track to Leon's latest album "Time Changes Everything" - featuring Rodney Crowell, Paulette Carlson (Highway 101) and other well-known artists. Steve has performed and recorded with WS "Fluke" Holland - Johnny Cash's drummer for over 40 years. Steve's new album is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2019. Steve's music has been said to sound like Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Lee Roy Parnell, etc. Steve performs solo-acoustic or with his stellar band. Steve has performed at the Texas State Fair in Beaumont, Texas, Texas Bike Rally in Galveston, Behind the Walls concert in Jefferson City, MO and at the Houston Livestock and Rodeo in Houston, Texas, the Daytona Bike Rally in Daytona Beach, FL as well **** in many venues from coast to coast.
