I loosely began a career in photography in 2010 after my 2-freckle yellow kat encouraged me notice the beauty and complexity of sun shadows.
I began to learn the intricacies and workings of the digital camera. I began to capture life looking under things. This was only a taste of thing to come.
I began to draw using prismacolor pencils. Ann Kullberg was my on-line teacher. I also joined an art co-op. There I met other artists who helped me to grow and allowed me to take part in local art shows.
Lastly, a call for designs for cats was issued through our local art association. I submitted my design "Alley Kat". She was selected to become a permanent part of local downtown art. Today not only does she sit along with eleven others in our town, but flags of our cats adorn our city.
Today I have a small studio where I create. Though I am a retired counselor/teacher, I am now doing what I have always wanted to do....create.
