The Menagerie Alameda is an event management company specializing in Oddity and Curiosity markets in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our flagship event, the Menagerie Oddities and Curiosities Market, was created by local oddities artists to fill a void left open by larger events who overlooked our region. On 4/20/19 our first Oddities and Curiosities market was held on the island of Alameda, featured 30 vendors from 3 states, and attracted collectors and shoppers from all over California. Our follow-up holiday event, held in December and featured 60 vendors from around the country as well as guest speaker Dacre Stoker, great-grand nephew of legendary Dracula author Bram Stoker. While 2020 was a total loss for events like ours, we have teamed up with local businesses on Webster Street in Alameda's vibrant West End Arts & Entertainment District to help revitalize and bring art events to the community. With 4 outdoor markets planned for 2021, the Menagerie will once again bring Oddities and Curiosities back to the greater San Francisco Bay Area. All our welcome-come join our Menagerie!
