A Roots Rock/Folk Rock band from the western suburbs of Chicago. This band features a lead-singing piano player with mandolin, drums, guitars and drums in the lineup. The Bare Hambones play 50/50 originals and covers. Covers include the likes of Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Chris Stapleton. The bass player is a jazz guitar-trained musician, the mandolin player has experience with bluegrass bands from the Seattle area, and the piano player and drummer have played in the insurgent country genre in the Chicago area for over 10 years. Imagine a sound between Waylon Jennings and Mumford and Sons and you have The Bare Hambones.
