The Rockingbirds take rock and pop music way back to where the good times began – the 1960s and 1970s-- when great music was the norm, and ran the gambit from the happy sounds of harmony-laden pop to the guitar driven anthems of classic rock. The Rockingbirds do it all with an ear for the sounds that made these songs so great.

Bringing this music alive at your event, theme party or festival are five veteran musicians who perform this time-honored music with all their hearts and souls. These are the kinds of songs that bring back strong musical memories and make people smile.

Refusing to treat these hand-picked classics as "oldies," The Rockingbirds combine powerfully executed renditions of these songs with tight harmonies floating above a bottom-end groove provided by Bassist David Close and Drummer Mitchell Widmer. Groovemaster John Ghirardini uses an authentic Hammond organ and swirling Leslie cabinet to create the signature 60s big piano and organ sounds. Michael Colford wrings shimmering riffs and thoughtful tone from his vintage guitars and Gemma Colford's voice honors the spirit of 60s female sirens like Dusty, Grace and Janis. The harmonies with all five vocalists in the band--that's right, all The Rockingbirds sing--creates a kaleidoscope of sound that is rare to hear "live" these days.

A Rockingbirds performance is an irresistible musical brew that intoxicates listeners with the desire to dance, sing, and remember... there was a time when music really did make you feel this good.
