Even as we mark calendars and make lists in preparation for the upcoming holiday season, many of us also set aside time to assist the less fortunate, as a way to give the season deeper meaning. This month, we put an apple on our Giving Tree for Samaritan's Purse. The non-profit has opened operations in the Bahamas to help alleviate the nearly unimaginable suffering caused by Hurricane Dorian.

The FestivalNet Giving Tree
For over 40 years, Samaritan's Purse has aided the poor, sick, and suffering here at home and around the world. Right now, at the request of the World Health Organization and the Bahamamian government, the non-profit is operating an Emergency Field Hospital in Freeport, performing life-saving surgeries and treating patients for a variety of injuries and illnesses.
Our Events Database Manager, Sara, chose Samaritan's Purse to receive a portion of Festivalnet.com's gross profits, this month.
