Gel Candles

Catherine Beautiful Gifts

First I want to take this opportunity to say I love FNO and all it has to offer us. To say I make gel candles is so underrating it can’t begin to explain what I do. I am an artist. Everything I make is so unique it will never be seen at Walmart or Target! Every candle design is a limited edition. I produce only 1 to 5 of the same type. All of them weigh a pound or more. Shipping cost is never less than $12. Because they’re made of gel they cannot be shipped in summer. Their prices range between $10 and approximately $100. So some of my candles can be sold at craft prices. This means I can go to both craft shows and strictly art shows. I am the CEO of my own lifestyle. I can decide to do to when I want and not have anyone else decide for me. I don’t have to call in sick or ask to get the day off. My business has excellent customer service as well as a four day or less shipping policy. But the bottom line is: I love what I do! I never arrive at work late. With my 35 years in finance and customer service there is no part of what I do I can’t handle. So now I have to prepare for my upcoming Art show. Good luck to everyone and I hope your shows are as successful as mine!

Scents by Joyce

I am new to craft shows. I also make candles. I make container candles that are so great in scent. Are there a lot of candle sellers at these shows? What type of craft shows should I try? Do the people attending expect very inexpensive candles or do they notice quality. Any advise for a newbie? I live in the Chicago area thanks
