It will be at the Abbey in Canon City (45 miles from Colorado Springs) during the Canon City Classic Balloon Festival at the Winery (same location.) Again, it will be on the Holy Cross Abbey grounds in the Fieldhouse (gymnasium) in Canon City - Memorial Day Weekend Saturday May 24 to Monday May 26. This location is HUGE! CALL for ARTISTS: Art in the Park Omak WA Artisans and Craftspersons are invited to participate in the 40th annual Art in the Park at Omak Civic League Park sponsored by Omak Kiwanis and Artists’ of the Okanogan. Omak is located in North Central Washington.On Friday June 13th & Saturday June 14th, Art in the Park at Omak Civic League Park will showcase the best contemporary fine art and craft from around the Pacific Northwest. Brunswick Arts Council

Deadline extended to Oct. 15th - fine artist and crafter wanted

The Brunswick Arts Council and the town of Southport, N.C. are holding the 2nd Charles Dickens Christmas Festival on November 22 and 23rd (selling on the 23rd). The focus has been performing arts but this is our first year for fine artists and craftsmen. And being out first year, we will have fewer artists than the larger shows. It is to be juried. Southport holds successful festivals several times a year and attendance last year was about 2500 people. We have stepped up advertising including a successful Sweepstake in Our State Magazine. It yielded 14500 registrants who wanted to win the weekend at the festival. Tourism has drastically this year perhaps due to the filming for TV and movies this year. So all indication are that attendance will be well over 3000 people. This is a quaint Victorian looking town located on the Cape Fear River and the Festival will be held in Franklin Sq. Park. Performers will appear on stage in the park and in venues nearby. There are a number of quality food vendors lined up. The Southport merchants are poised for the increase in visitors. The town will be all twinkly, the trolley is ready, carolers stroll by. it is delightful! Artists are welcome to apply at www.brunswickartscouncil.org and press the Dickens Festival tab. I am a fine jewelry artist who has finally decided to quit doing shows all over the country and open a fine art, fine craft gallery in Prescott, Arizona. We get more than 8 million visitors yearly and my store will be right downtown on the square!. I am looking for 20-40 fine artist or fine crafters for my gallery. Price will be $350 a month plus 10% with a minium of 6 months. I have spoken to a lot of artist and they like this idea. Clarification on the Unite America events and updates

Hello, It has come to my attention that some people have questioned what we are doing so i thought that i would claify it and update what is going on. Keep our Heroes Safe is not a 501c3. We are a event planning committee that plans events just like tons of others in this Country. The only difference is that we have the resources that allow us to help heroes. We only help heroes as that is very special to me. We are helping for this year and next, the Wounded Warriors Program and the Feal Good Foundation out of NYC. We have already been approved to do this. I did not think this was going to be an issue as there are fairs and festivals that are held every weekend in this country that are NOT 501c3. We do not have to donate but we chose to help the ones fighting for us at home and abroad. Now onto the events, I have spoken with the officials in Killeen Texas and due to the weather and the over amount of mesquito's, we have decided to move the event to the first weekend in November. This is also a very special weekend to all of us in Killeen as it does mark the first anniversey of our shooting last year. We are about boosting morale, not sitting at home and listening to the news all day. Me and officials from the military have decided that it would be the perfect weekend to pay tribute to those that we lost and to the ones still fighting, while helping our heroes. Might be a unusual request but we are looking for Beer Vendors

As we are doing the event in Killeen on 9/11, we have decided to do others across the nation as well, close to military Forts, Camps and coast and Air fields. We just got a great sponsor and some great volunteers to make this all a success. Instead of me having to deal with the complete hassles of beer and such, I am looking for beer vendors. You are responsible for your own licensing and I am responsible for event licensing. The fee is a little more but well, they are close to military bases. The only thing that i want to avoid is a vendor charging 5-7 bucks for a beer. These are military families and a lot of things have been cut from our soldiers including payraises. This would be a great investment for the cost.

The 2010 Michigantown Fair is in need of vendors. New organizers this year with lots of advertising! We are looking for quality food and craft vendors. Booth rental is $10 (non-electric) and $15 (electric). Event is on August 14th, with set up from 7am-9am, open for business at 9am, close around 9pm. Coulee Region Humane Society

Coulee Region Humane Society's Bark in the Park

The Coulee Region Humane Society will be holding its 9th Annual Bark in the Park August 14, 2010. The event will be held at Copeland Park in La Crosse, WI from 9am-1:30 pm. This event draws hundreds of people and their dogs to a day in the park in which they can socialize and participate in games, contests, visit our Pet Boutique or relax in a doggie pool. There will be great food, entertainment and of course the Big Bark attempt by the dogs in attendance. We currently hold the Guinness World Record for the loudest bark which was officially awarded to us in 2003. We are currently seeking animal and non animal vendors to participate as Mutt Merchants as both our dog and human attendees enjoy shopping and learning about products that are available. Copeland Park offers a large shelter area for the vendors and other activities. There is a $35 vendor fee. We will provide a 6ft table and one chair. You will be able to bring any signage that you can hang on your table, promote and sell your merchandise. Set up and check in will take place at 8:00 am. Booths are to be completely set up by the start of the event at 9:00 am and remain open until the Bark in the Park officially closes at 1:30pm.
