I am all new to this, I have done a few inside flea markets and electricity was available. However, before you know it, the spring will be here and I would like to do some outside flea markets. I would like to know when vendors do outside shows, where do you get electrcity to hook-up their machines or computers? Do they bring a generators? Thanking you all in advance for your helpful answers.

I have been using a DieHard Portable Power Unit 1150. I purchased on sale at Sears for just over $100. It powers a small cash register, and 3 lamps @ 60 watts each for approx. 6 to 7 hours. The unit is rechargeable by plugging it into a wall socket or a car lighter. I'm sure there are better methods, but this one has been the simplest for me to get started with. I've heard of others using marine batteries, and some use small generators when they are allowed. All the best ~ Will

Hello, Credit card processing is at least one thing that can be independent of electrical service by using your smartphone. I represent a reliable CC Processing product called "PhoneSwipe". It's backed by a processor that's been in business for 20 years and has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. It offers $0 Monthly Fees, 2.69% per swiped transaction and $0 PCI Compliance fees. You only pay for the service as you use it. Request a Free Unit at: PhoneSwipePro.com

We have a generator. You need to figure out how many watts of power you use. We got a great deal at the pawn shop for ours.
