I'm Ken Cumbie. I live in North Carolina, been here since 2010. Originally from Oklahoma. My great-grandfather was a carpenter and cabinet maker. I grew up in a home he built. At an early age, my Mother would teach me how to cut wood with a handsaw, and how to drive nails. As I grew I continued tinkering with wood scraps. After Careers in Law Enforcement, Trama Nurse, and 15yrs in the Army Reserves, I was injured which caused me to rethink my life. I naturally returned to Woodworking. Upon moving to N.C. I assisted with the construction of my Log Cabin, and of course my new woodshop. I've discovered I have a natural talent in Woodcarving, which is now taking up most of my time developing my Craft.
