These Pine cones are from the Pacific Northwest, I do not know what the tree is and have not been able to find the cones in books. There is only one tree I have found with these in the Greater Seattle Area. They really are fabulous for cone wreaths and centerpieces. They will draw attention from your nature loving friends and usually start a conversation. They are 1 1/2" to 3 1/4" with stem and 1" to 2" without the stems.
These cones are all well coated with spar urethane and will be around for many years to come
