To determine size:
Using a soft tape measure or string...
Starting at the center of the forehead above the eyebrow...
wrap the tape measure down below one ear...
continuing to the back on the neck...
back up around below the other
ear and back to where you started.
Read this measurement
and refer to the chart below.
This will determine the size you need.

Head Circumference: 9 - 11 inches
Hat Circumference: 8 to 10 inches
Hat Height: 4 1/2 inches
(not measuring the stem)
Newborn:
Head Circumference 13 - 14 inches
Hat Circumference 11 1/2 to 13 inches
Hat Height: 5 1/2 - 6 inches
Infant:
Head Circumference 15 to 18 inches
Hat Circumference 14 to 17 inches
Hat Height: 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 inches
Toddler:
Head Circumference 18 to 20 inches
Hat Circumference 17 to 19 inches
Hat Height: 8 inches
Young Child:
Head Circumference 19 to 20 1/2 inches

The sizing above is a loose guideline.
Your child's head measurement maybe smaller or larger
in some aspects in relationship to the guide.
These hats are nice and stretchy, so measurement
does not have to be exact, just close.
Plus, it is a rolled brim so you can roll it up off the forehead
or down for better coverage.
