The Newport Beach Arts Foundation is a public non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, whose mission is to promote, support and broaden cultural activities within Newport Beach in coordination with the Newport Beach Arts Commission. The Foundation hosts the annual Art in the Park arts and crafts festival on the Newport Beach Civic Green, in Newport Beach, California. More than 100 Southern California artists and artisans have works for sale. Art in the Park offers visitors the opportunity to talk to the artists, see their work and purchase the finest in artwork and crafts in a variety of styles and media. Art activities for children are available. Children and pets are welcome. This is a free event with plenty of free parking. Proceeds from this event help to provide support for school tours, acquisition of significant works of art for the city, as well as arts and cultural programming in Newport Beach.
