Gulf State Park - Gulf Shores, AL

The Ballyhoo Festival is a juried fine arts festival with additional emphasis on cultural exchange. Artist prizes will be $3,000. On March 5, the Poarch Creek Indians will share their history and will have two performances of original tribal dance. On March 6, Florabama and the Frank Brown Songwriters Assn will present a Fiddle/Banjo Competition with $1500.00 in prize money awarded. This is a part of early Americana culture. There will also be a performance by the internet sensation, The Cotton Pickin' Kids. Fine art, fine crafts, great music, cultural exchange children's art activities and great food!

The annual Wilson Pickett Music and Arts Festival features artists and fine crafters from throughout the Southeast. Featured Artists demonstrate traditional crafts, painting, and more during the festival. This juried show features artists working in a wide variety of media who display and sale their work. Free children's art pavilion, food and entertainment.

This Alabama Holiday Celebration will have no exhibit booths and tba food booths. There will be 1 stage with Local talent and the hours will be Thu 3pm-10pm. Admission tickets are $5. This event will also include: parade, fireworks, kids' activities, band.
