Port Hudson State Historic Site - Jackson, LA

The 4th Annual Baton Rouge Civil War Symposium, and the 30th Annual Civil War Re-enactment, are independent events. The symposium has a reception, speaker topics relating to the longest siege in US military history, and a private battlefield tour. The Re-enactment has battles with hundreds of re-enactors, living history, sutlers, The Port Hudson museum, campsites, firepower and duel demonstrations, dancers, refreshments, and vendors. If you like history join us to help keep it alive. It's a lot of fun and educational. A portion of the proceeds benefit the "Friends Of Port Hudson". Come Learn With Us And Bring A Friend To Share The Adventure.
