About Bremond...   We are a small farming community nestled right in the “Heart of Texas” off of Hwy 6 and Hwy 14 in Robertson County.  Our quiet, country streets have witnessed a history rich in Polish heritage, cotton ginning, coal mining, and championship sports.  Friendly people with small town values offer visitors a sense of coming home with a smile, and warm welcome or “Witamy!”

Our Mission
The mission of the Bremond Chamber of Commerce is to promote business growth and improve the quality of life in the Bremond/Robertson County/Brazos Valley area.

Our Goals
• To create a business climate that attracts new businesses and enhances growth and
expansion opportunities for existing businesses.
• To create a community with an improved quality of life
• To create value-added membership opportunities and benefits
• To save our downtown area
• To clean-up and beautify our community

Bremond Polish Festival Days (Polski Dzien) started in 1987 by a small group of community volunteers wishing to bring families home to Bremond, the Polish Capital of Texas, for a celebration of their Polish heritage.  The Event has also become a doorway used to introduce all visitors to Bremond's Polish culture and traditions.

Our Downtown Main Street Festival is held each year on the 4th weekend of June.  The Bremond Chamber of Commerce hosts a 2-day event, welcoming 4,000 to 6,000 visitors over the course of the weekend, which continues to grow each year!  The event kicks off on Friday evening with a beauty pageant, margarita contest, live music, merchandise & food vendors, and the BBQ cook-off check-in.

Saturday morning dawns early with the Famous 5K Polish Pickle Run  boasting anywhere from 800-1,000 runners participating.  A lovely opening ceremony featuring several Polish Welcoming Traditions; such as, blessing the event, singing of the American and Polish National Anthems, takes place before our hometown parade travels down Main Street!

Each year, we choose a Polish family to honor in the parade and with a special display at our museum.  Other parade participants include, local politicians, news and radio celebrities, Polish dancers, local scouts, tractor and car clubs, horses, wagons and a unending array of local citizens and businesses with uniquely decorated floats, bikes, or ATV's.

The rest of the day is filled with live music, dancing, shopping, delicious food and chances to play and win in one of many game tournaments.  A program with a map, schedule of events and other information is available at the Chamber booth, ensuring that visitors know when and where all activities are taking place.

The Children's Area keeps the young ones busy and entertained so Mom & Dad can have fun visiting with friends or a little shopping.

Each year our event features great entertainment, from authentic Polka bands and dancers to our big Saturday night street dance hosting popular artists, such as Earl Thomas Conley, Wade Bowen, Rick Trevino, & Doug Stone.

It is still our goal to share the Polish culture and cuisine through family fun, tradition and entertainment.  By offering this unique experience to our visitors, our profits allow us to provide scholarships to graduating Seniors, assisting members of our community, promoting new business opportunities, beautification projects and maintenance of the downtown area.
