After working for 15 years as an abstract artist, Corey Strange made the move to study classical art and architecture. While working on a Master's of Architecture, he discovered a deep passion for The Venetian School of painters which include such notables as Titian, Tiepolo and Veronese. Thier fascination with light and color aligned with Corey's previous work using light as artistic medium but enhanced his communicative power by adding the figure and representational symbols. Now, Corey seeks to emulate these great masters so far as to paint with their chosen medium (leaded glass) and natural pigments. This creates work that is truly stirring to the soul and timelesss in its appeal.
