I own a company called Beebleboop, which was an original toy store, but as time went on I added art and jewelry, phasing out the toys. I'm in the process of creating a new store by the name of J.Ashley artifact jewelry.
I'm in my 30th year of being a watercolorist, and 20th year of designing jewelry. I'm a naturally curious person. I like to know how things are made and why they work. I apply the same curiosity toward my art, in a constant process of learning. One technique and one way of doing things is never enough for me. I don't like repetitive work, which is why you'll find mostly one of a kind pieces here. All originals, made only by me, start to finish.
In art shows I've won best of show both in painting and jewelry categories. I went to Kendall college of Art and Design, and spent decades being an architectural renderer. I started doing art fairs and shows with my jewelry at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art in 1990. Since then I discovered a love of the interaction with people to be where I thrive.
