Summit Band Boosters is a 501(c)3 organization working to support all of the band programs at Summit High School. We provide whatever support is needed to help our directors and students make Summit Band the best band program it can be! Our group supports the band program in two ways: financially and in our volunteer time.
Summit Band Boosters provides many ways to support the band so you can be involved in a way that best fits the needs of your family. By raising funds, we are able to help our band programs above and beyond what the district budget allows. With ever increasing pressures on the school's budget, our role in keeping the Summit Band program strong is extremely important. We are able to provide things like extra instruction from professional music instructors, extra equipment for our students, duffel bags, baseball hats and much, much more. Our group also volunteers our time to help the band. We serve as chaperones for football games and other band trips. We prepare meals and snacks for competitions and games. We sew flags and repair equipment. We help put on the annual Spring Band Banquet. We provide scholarships for our graduating seniors. And so much more.
