What's NEW at FNO!

March 2012: A new landmark! FNO is proud to announce we now have 750,000 monthly visitors to the website and have a whopping 24,000+ events listed in our database. On our "Tell a Friend" page, if you are logged in and are a FNO Affiliate or Pro Member, your affiliate number will auto-load in the message making earning your affiliate commission all the easier (more info on our affiliate program). In addition, your name and email will also load in the form for your convenience. Also, we now add your affiliate number to the codes on our "Link to FNO" page. There is a new area at the top of the Pro Search results page that will tell you what you entered as search criteria. Also, in the Pro Search results, Level 2 or 3 members will see "View/Edit" in red next to "My Notes" if they have added notes on an event. Lets you easily tell which events have notes and which don't. February 2012: In Pro Search, US & Canada have been added as region options and we now offer "until full" in the deadline area. November 2011: Festivals and promoters with a paid Pro account can now add their show applications to their profile for easy access by exhibitors! Other Pro Members can add flyers or product information documents. Allowed file types are DOC and PDF. There is a new tab in "My Account" called 'My Applications' for festival/promoter members and 'My Documents' for all others. Members, you now have an option to set your default landing page of your festivalnet URL (also known as your EPK). The landing page can be either your profile/info page, shop, blog, photos, or videos. There is a new drop down list in the modify profile screen in your "My Account" area. October 2011: New Pro Search items! You can now: Sort your results by exhibitor and food fees Search by region (or by one state or multiple states selected in any combination) Search by date range Also, food vendors can now exclude events that allow only local or non profit booths from their results. For Pro Members Levels 2 & 3 When printing the list of shows in your 'MyList', the events will now print one per page. We added a New Newsletter Sign up to receive our Weekly Updates Newsletter of recently added, updated or canceled events! Go to "My Account" and click "Manage Your E-lists" to sign up! For All Pro Members You now have the option to embed a Youtube video or upload one to your FNO profile! To see how this works, go to "My Account" and click on the "videos" tab and click "add video". Enjoy! New in Show Ratings Thanks to your feedback on our "Vote for Changes" page, we've added a new item in the show rating form, a line to indicate your gross sales for that event. Please remember to rate shows you've attended, it helps everyone! Also, if your medium is listed in your FNO profile, that will show up in the ratings display so other people can specifically see what each rater did at the event they have rated. July 2011: We added an online chat feature! Now when you're in your "My Account" area, the join page, pro search, and other pages on the site, you will notice the "Click for Live Help" box on the bottom right hand side of the screen. If we're available to chat and if you need assistance, we look forward to chatting with you. March 2011: If you are a Level 2 member, when you make notes on an event, those notes will now show with a red "view/edit" next to the "my notes" link in order to stand out from events you have not written notes on. Promoters, several improvements have been made to the add/update event form. In lieu of deleting festivals we've deemed inappropriate to list, we will keep them in your search results with a "No Publish" headline and not reveal the contact info. This is an effort to educate our members on events that we have stopped listing. February 2011: FNO Marketplace Items: The Paypal improvement is up and running! Sellers now simply enter their Paypal email to get paid via Paypal. "One of a kind" item option now available, no need to enter stock or restock amounts! Tag suggestions now functional! Helps build consistent tagging within categories. You can now add special shipping prices for overweight/oversized items (note: flat rate must not be selected in seller settings or it defaults to that). Flat rate is only useful for sellers with overweight/oversized items where one price works for all. December 2010: Pro search now has multi-select for state, month, booths allowed and music type. Use the control key to select more than one for these drop down categories! October 2010: The FNO Marketplace has launched! Check out our new videos: Why go Pro? How to use the FNO Pro Search NEW PRO MEMBER & FESTIVAL FEATURES: "My List" & "My Notes" are now auto updated in Pro search. You can now select multiple music types in Pro search. Festivals can now show their profile image with their events and events are auto-added to their profile calendar! March 2010: Members can now rate changes to the FNO site. Click here to see how. January 2010: Turn your FNO profile into your EPK (Electronic Press Kit)! Easily send your customized profile to Festival Promoters straight from the full show details page by clicking the new "send my EPK" link next to the promoter's email address. November 2009: Musicians can now add songs to their FNO profile! October 2009: FNO Partners with Artist Career Training! Check out the "Add event to My Calendar" link in the Pro Search results or edit your calendar from your account area! April 2009: FNO partners with Motel 6. Now all paid FNO members can save 10% at over 1000 Motel 6 locations nationwide! To learn more about the program, click here. If you are already an FNO Pro Member (levels 1-3), get the discount code by clicking on "Special Bonus" in My Account. Fest Biz Directory now links to your FNO Community profile. Now if you opt to be listed in our Festival Biz Directory, your listing will link back to your FNO Community profile! Profiles with photos are listed first, so be sure you upload a photo! March 2009: Export more info. Level 3 members may now export application deadline date in addition to previously included fields. February 2009: FNO Community launched! Create your own site and: display a personal profile publish a blog upload photos and/or videos add events to a personal calendar build a friends list Connect with other members in FNO Community Forums FNO Pro Members Search redesigned. Search criteria is now organized by category. April 2008: You can now use Canadian Zip Codes in the Zip Code Radius Search February 2008: FNO HAS A NEW WEBSITE! Pro Member Features Now you can save your search options in the Pro Member's Search! Check out the "save as my default search" button. Level 2 members now have the ability to add multiple shows to their "My List" and can write notes about shows in their list. Level 3 members can now keep track of how many shows they've exported. All Pro Members can utilize the new "Get Directions" link which will route the way to the show! You can now search for "One day shows only." There is an option to select recently edited shows. Basic Members and Pro Members have access to this feature! Now you can! Log in, click 'My Account', and select up to three categories for your business. Promoter Ratings In addition to show ratings, you can now rate the promoters. Check out the ratings box in your search results.
