If you plan to work festivals regularly, investing in a sturdy, professional-quality tent is one of the smartest decisions you can make. After almost 25 years on the festival circuit as a professional face painter and henna artist, including over a decade of working festivals nearly every weekend, I've seen countless vendors hauling broken tent legs and shredded canopies to the dumpster because they bought the cheapest option available.

While inexpensive $60 tents may survive a few small events, serious festival vendors quickly discover the value of a commercial-grade tent like an E-Z Up or equivalent quality brand.

Why White Tents Are Best

Many festivals require white tents for a clean, uniform appearance, but there's another reason artists should prefer them: lighting.

White tents create a bright, cheerful environment and allow artwork, face paint, henna, jewelry, and products to display their true colors accurately. Dark or colored tents can cast unwanted color tones and make booths feel dim or gloomy. This time of year, it's tempting to search by "2026 only" in our member's pro search.  Since we only have one listing per event, that is not ideal!  Event updates roll in 'year-round' - sometimes 3-6 months before the event dates. Searching by 'all years' with your selected month(s) will reveal updated and non-updated annual events!  We ask for event updates monthly and some promoters update far in advanced and others do not; we get to the updates eventually on all events! It's literally never ending, and we appreciate your patience. 😄 Relying on 'last years' event data (website, emails, approximate deadline...) is generally very helpful too.
