Dawn Gurtner (aka Miss Sunshine) is a fine artist with a make up art background and uses those skills to design custom art work for children's faces.
Gurtner had an art camp for years in Florida and is a accomplished artist within the fine arts realm. Working in pencil, oils, acrylics and gouache Gurtner creates custom works of art from photos.
Her classes for all ages included Drawing on the right side of the brain, oil painting, acrylic painting, funky painting, famous artists paintings, soap making, glass painting, jewelry making, candy making to name a few.
She is also a muralist and has done large murals for customers such as the Police Athletic League and Sarasota Motel and Marina.
Her favorite way to express her art is with the children. She loves the kids and has a way with them that makes the kids enjoy the entire face painting experience at any age.
