THE MELTING
Synopsis
In 1936, in Pleasure View Kentucky, a team of construction workers showed up to begin ground work for a small and dismal building known as 'The Lakeside Testing Lab.' The location was an area of forest that festered a family of 'Hillbillies,' that would be 'The Hagger’s.' On that momentous day, when the Lab folks met The Hagger’s, a feud began that would go on...even in death.
By 1980, The Lab had grown to become the monster known as 'XANORSE CHEMICALS INC. In the summer of that year, six teenagers, in an attempt to bury a particularly grisly mishap they'd had, found themselves knee deep in an underground toxic waste pool. Sixteen-year-old Jimmy Hagger discovered the pool too.
Ten years later, six young adults and one hillbilly started to...change. And the town of Pleasure View would be brutalized by the attacks of something hideously unnatural.
