My Experience at the Spiritual Arts Fair in Oneonta, NY

posted May 9, 2010   category » Fair, Event, Festival

Hello!  I just returned from a highly successful Spiritual Arts Fair in Oneonta, NY!  The prices for the Readings were so reasonable at $30 for 30 mins and the Vendors cut their prices on all their items just for this event.  Plus, the workshops were FREE!

The weather did not seem to affect attendace using my being booked with back to back clients from 10:00am - 4:00pm, as a means of measurement.  People were comfortable and relaxed in waiting areas outside our private rooms for all the Psychic Readers staged in the Olympia Duncan House.  To schedule a reading, you sign up for a time slot at 9am in the foyer of the Unitarian Church.

There were 4 buildings that held this event.  The Unitarian Church held all of the Vendors and Holistic Body Workers on the ground floor with some Energy Healers upstairs.  The Art Gallery across the street had a large room for workshops, and classes were held at the YMCA next door.

I was fortunate enough to be able to drive down the day before the event to set up and made four new friends.  We shared a delightful and delicious dinner at a local fantastic Italian Restaurant that evening.  After dinner I retired to my bedroom suite inside the adorable Murphy House B&B (for half the cost of the Clarion Hotel), which includes an amazing breakfast prepared by the owner, Nancy.  She made me the best tasting yogurt topped with nut shavings and oatmeal flakes, followed by the awesome french toast with fresh fruit drizzeled in something heavenly.  My tummy and taste buds were so happy!  It could not have been a more pleasant experience from start to finish at the Murphy House B&B.  Thank you Nancy, and husband Mike.  I will return and visit my newly made friends.

This is an annual Spiritual Arts Fair organized as a fundraiser by the Unitarian Universal Society.  This years fair was the largest it has ever been in the 6 years it's been held.  I encourage you to attend next year if you missed it.

See you there in 2011!
