He had a great first show. Very nice turn out for a June show, new location and new company to boot. Shoppers and lookers stayed for awhile to look around, sit and chat with others over beverages and snacks. We had over 160 people come through the doors during our 6 hour show. Nice steady flow for the first 4 plus hours. $1 Raffle for buyers to win $25 Gift Certificate and every one that entered will all received free admission to either one of the next 2 shows this year. 107 people alone came through the doors with free admission coupons and 2 for 1 coupons.
We had 29 sellers/vendors using 50 tables. Our next show October 3, 2010 at the Earle Brown Center can hold 100 to 150 tables. So this will be one of our biggest shows. The center is a wonderful place for a show and the sellers love this location. We will have 2 raffles for $25 and winner does not need to be present. Will also repeat the free admission for the next 2 shows as well.
Our 3rd show is Saturday December 4, 2010 at the Maplewood Community Center from 10 to 4.
No 2 shows are ever the same. New vendors, repeat vendors with new merchandise.
Admission is always charged! But specials in the newspaper and internet. Just google the show title and everything comes up. Adults are $5 each and Children 12 and under are $1.
For sellers the price of tables depends on the location. But have been $45 to $50 per table.
We plan on having 4 shows per calender year and each one in a different location.
