So this year the shows KL Jewelry Design participated in were really bad shows. Not much in the way of income and attendance was way down.
We discounted our prices and that helped with sales a bit. We switched to doing mostly juried events but we found out that most of them claim to be juried events and they really aren't. They are just events that only allow "handmade" items but we know from looking at some of the other jewelry booths that they are not handmade by the person in the booth. Big difference!
We almost stopped doing shows after this year and have only a few signed up for next year. There is supposed to be a economic increase here in the Midwest next year but things were bad.

Any ideas on what we could do to choose better shows, or anything would be welcomed.
