Oatland Island Wildlife Center is a unit of the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System. It serves as a K-12 field trip site for science utilizing a 2 mile walking trail that features animal indigenous to North America. Oatland is also open to the public daily for self-guided walks and holds several fundraising events (festivals) during the year.
