Folkfest was a success!

The heat made celebrating a bit tough on the Friday, but people managed to fight back with lots of water and other beverages. I need to thank all the pavilion managers of the 21 cultural pavilions for doing another fantastic job! They along with approximately 5,000 volunteers showed Saskatoon what culture is all about. I am so proud of them all. Many thanks to the 2013 Youth Ambassadors who represented their cultural communities with such pride and decorum. They are future leaders and it is great to know that culture is in good hands for the future. Joing us for the 35th Anniversary next year! |
