Security cannot be an afterthought. Just like a lover, a company that truly cares about your safety and best interest puts it first from the beginning. If your lover cheats on you what do you do? You delete the **** from your life! Screwed up security is not a genie that can be put back in the bottle. And the worst part is they knew long before they were called out on it. They just banked on not getting caught.
If you want things to change you have to do two things. First, hit Facebook where they hurt by deleting your account. Your true friends will find you elsewhere. Second, find a new lover in the form of a company that was built for you, not because they saw a cash cow to exploit.
