Fur Rendezvous known as "Rondy" began in 1936 as a way for winter-weary Alaskans to celebrate the beginning of winter's end & to trade goods and supplies. With more than 25 official cultural/sporting activities and 20-30 community hosted Around Town events, Fur Rondy offers wacky winter fun like Running of the Reindeer, Skating with Critters & Outhouse Races. We partner with over 40 nonprofits with activities to raise awareness that allows them to carry out their Anchorage missions. Rondy 2024 will have a full slate of events large and small. Fur Rendezvous is committed to our mission of community support, economic impact, and fun for all.

This Alaska Festival will have commercial/retail, corp./information and crafts exhibitors, and 25 food booths. There will be 1 stage with National, Regional and Local talent and the hours will be Fri 12pm-2am, Sat 11am-2am, Sun 11am-11pm. Admission tickets are $40 - $200.

This Alaska State Fair will have antique/collectibles, crafts, fine art, fine craft and homegrown products exhibitors, and 15 food booths. There will be 2 stages with Regional and Local talent and the hours will be Fri 12pm-8pm, Sat 10am-8pm, Sun 12pm-5pm. Admission tickets are $5 - $15. This event will also include: parade, carnival, racing pigs, arm wrestling, rodeo.
