Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering & Western Music Rendezvous in Lewistown, Montana is listed in Patricia Schultz' travel book, 1,000 Places to See in the US and Canada Before you Die! The 4-day Gathering is a celebration of the history and heritage of the Rocky Mountain northwest 'before the wire.' Over 100 cowboy poets, musicians and art/gear vendors participate annually. Sat. August 8th Dave Stamey, singer/songwriter, stars at the Grand Stage Show.

There will be 2 stages with Regional and Local talent and the hours will be Fri 4pm-11pm; Sat 10am-10pm; Sun 10am-5pm. This event will also include: parade noon on saturday, 5k, large car show on sunday, home brew contest.
