Tulsa Garden Center - Tulsa, OK

Loretta Barrett Oden, an award winning indigenous chef, author of the cookbook "Corn Dance, Inspired First American Cuisine", former owner of the Corn Dance cafe in Santa Fe, food historian and TV host of PBS series: Seasoned with Spirit; A Native Cook's Journey, will be speaking about herbs, native foods and pre-contact indigenous foods of America. Ms Oden is an enrolled member of the Potawatomi Tribe. She designed the kitchen and created the menu at Restaurant 39,in the First Americans Museum, OKC. The program is free to the public and will begin at 7pm at the Tulsa Garden Center. Refreshments will be served.

Sonrise Adult and Teen Challenge - Cache, OK

This Oklahoma Specialty-Theme Event will have antique/collectibles, commercial/retail, corp./information, crafts, film, fine art, fine craft, flea market and homegrown products exhibitors, and 5 food booths. There will be 1 stage with National, Regional and Local talent and the hours will be Sat 9am-12 midnight. Admission tickets are $30 - $70. This event will also include: mud bog (friday night mud wrestling), food trucks all weekend.
