Welcome to L'Adore Opals, and thank you for shopping here! I want this experience to be a pleasant one for you. The Boulder Opals have a special place in my heart. I am amazed at the intricate patterns these stones have, and the pictures I can see in so many of them. I enjoy examining them under a magnifying glass to find new things each time I work on a new stone. Check out my "Ghoulish School Bus Ride" piece, and "Avatar". I will continue to add my best pieces here, for your entertainment. :-)
I do hope your purchases exceed your expectations. I believe my stones are prettier in person than they show in my photographs; I don't highly alter them. However, if for any reason you are unsatisfied with your items, please contact me ASAP for information regarding exchanges/returns. And, keep in mind that these are natural stones, I do not fill in any little gouges or dings with a material to cover up. I will try to identify irregularities in my stones for you, should they affect the beauty of the piece. I will not try to sell anything that is badly damaged.
Please contact me prior to leaving a negative feedback to discuss the problem--let me know how I could improve your shopping experience or if we can come up with a resolution for any problems. I ask that you give me a chance to make it right for you!
Payment
Payment is due at the time of purchase. I accept Etsy Direct Checkout (the easiest way to pay with a credit card), PayPal, check, and money order. All payments must clear before your order is shipped. I will send you an email or convo when the order has been shipped. An 8.25% sales tax applies to all Texas sales.
If you decide you do not want an item before it ships, notify me in writing and I will issue a full refund including shipping. If you decide you do not want an item after it ships, return the item and I will issue a refund for the purchase price. In this instance the buyer is responsible for shipping costs.
Shipping
US RESIDENTS: I ship USPS first class. if you would like to upgrade to priority at an additional cost, please contact me to make arrangements. All packages are trackable and insured against loss/damage. PLEASE NOTE: domestic claims for loss/damage cannot be filed prior to 21 days from the date a package was mailed; however, if you feel a package is taking longer than expected to arrive or would like the tracking #, please feel free to contact me. Insurance is included in your shipping cost.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: I ship USPS first class international mail. Unfortunately, tracking is not available for this method, however packages ARE INSURED against loss/damage. PLEASE NOTE: it may take up to 45 days for international packages to arrive to their destination due to customs and international mail delivery. CLAIMS CANNOT BE FILED prior to 45 days from the date of shipment. if a package does fail to arrive after 45 days, please contact me and I will promptly mail a replacement or refund your money.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS: Buyers are responsible for any/all customs fees levied on their packages. Please check to see that the items you wish to purchase will be allowed into your country and through customs before placing an order.
Refunds and Exchanges

If I can't make it right for you, I will gladly offer an exchange or a full refund for the original purchase price minus shipping, no further questions asked.
The buyer is responsible for cost of return shipment and must insure the package for the purchase price or mail it at their own risk.
Upon receiving returned merchandise and assessing that it is in good, unworn/unused condition, I will promptly issue a refund.
Please request refunds or returns in writing within 3 business days of receiving your shipment.
I ask that returns be POSTMARKED within 4 days of their original delivery date. Please contact me to let me know to expect your return.

Additional Policies and FAQs
I am happy to make custom orders. Please send me a detailed description of what you want with your contact information, and I will be in touch soon. Please order it at least three weeks before you need it. Not all items take that long, and the smaller the item, generally the quicker I can make and ship it to you, however I may need to find the right material for your order. Usually, going by my work that you see here, if you have a certain style of wire wrap item or shape in mind, I will be able to reproduce it.
Since my pieces are hand made and no two stones are exactly alike, no two pieces will be exactly alike in shape, size, pattern or color. All sizes are approximate.
If you would like several very similar pieces, say as gifts for several members of your family, for example, send me an email, and we'll work out the details.
Please be aware that my items are intended for adults only, as some pieces may contain small and/or delicate parts that might be unsuitable for young children. They need to be treated gently (that means the jewelry and the children). Clean with plain water and a soft cloth only, do not allow to soak in water (that applies to the stones), and do not expose the stones to chemicals to ensure long lasting satisfaction with your precious gemstones.
