Mask Mandates:
Requirement. Oregon Health authority issued guidance on wearing masks pursuant to EO 20-25. Beginning July 15, Oregonians statewide will be required to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces, whether publicly or privately owned as well as outdoors when physical distancing is not possible. Beginning July 24, children age 5 and up are required to wear a mask, face shield or face covering. Face coverings are now required when exercising indoors, plus outdoors when you can’t physically distance.
Mass Gathering Restrictions:
Indoor social gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited under OHA 2351G. For phase 1 counties the maximum capacity for gatherings is 50 people indoors or outdoors. For phase 2 counties the maximum capacity for gatherings is 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. This excludes businesses subject to their own sector-specific guidance. EO 20-27 allows groups of up to 50 in indoor spaces and 100 in outdoor spaces.
