Fairly Traded handwoven wearable art and accessories made from hand-dyed rayon chenille and cotton by a Mayan women´s cooperative in the highlands of Guatemala -- including jackets, scarves, shawls, handbags, wallets, coin purses, and more. Handmade jewelry made from Czechoslovakian glass beads. Home goods, including pine needle baskets, tablecloths, placemats, etc. An indigenous woman from Guatemala is at times available to demonstrate backstrap loom weaving at events. We also give talks on Guatemalan history, human rights, international mining in Guatemala, and other topics regarding Guatemala.
