My name is Caitlin Feldman and I am a 17 year old fused glass artist who creates one of a kind “abstracted faces”. My fused glass art is like nothing people have ever seen before. It’s just a fun way of making people out of glass with a bit more style and personality to them. I individually cut, design, and customize each face for hair color, eye color, eyelashes, lip shape, freckle, style, and background color according to its personality. Individual face colors include Caucasian, African American, Asian, and Hispanic. My abstracted faces range from a single to four faces on a background piece of glass. Custom orders can be made for your child / children, siblings, mother-daughter, grandchildren, a couple, or any group of people. They also are great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, engagement, holidays, as well as to display in your home.
I have always had a love for art, but never found my true niche until I started fusing with glass. I started my own business called “Abstracted Faces when I was only 16 years old. I was selected to be in the 11th Annual Faces International Juried Online Exhibition (1 of 57 people from 250 entries worldwide). That's amazing, especially since I was only 15! My work is also is available at Limited Additions Gallery (limitedadditionsgallery.com) and was previously sold at Graphic Traffic in Plaza Frontenac in St. Louis, MO.
