In January 2015, I ended my job as an Accounts Payable Clerk at a local municipality. When asked what are you going to do now. I contemplated for several months. I knew that I wanted to open a business but, wasn't sure what. My husband asked me what is your passion. It took me a second to reply. My passion is handmade body products. So Alice's Soap Pantry, llc was born. My passion for handmade products started as a young child. My Grandma Alice ( a southern gal) would make tallow soap every spring. Grandma Alice always included me. She would teach me every step she was taking in the soap making process. My favorite part was cutting and wrapping the soap. In the spring of 2015, I was wading through boxes of cards, letters, etc. and I came across a card from gramdma dated 3/20/1996. Enclosed was her soap recipe. After several failed attempts to make soap the recipe was tweeted perfectly. In May of 2015, Alice's began making soap. We have not looked back since.
