Amy Gerlich, Rochester Hills, MI
Hi! I'm Amy, from AmyScrapSpot, thank you so much for stopping by!
AmyScrapSpot began as a blog and transitioned from papercrafting to sewing 3 years ago and then I added machine embroidery to my bag of tricks.
You can find my blog at the address given within, or simply Google AmyScrapSpot 😉
I create everything myself (except the fabric/thread/file/ect that I create with).
I am the sole owner of my business and pride myself on original quality products that have as much customer input as possible.
Recreating your vision is my goal and I am passionate about every single item that I make!
My services range from embroidering Awareness shirts, baby items, and other materials, to creating standard blankets and stroller/wheelchair ponchos or blankets.
I use a few easy measurements, with your fabric preferences in mind, to accomplish the task.
I am compelled to create my own designs, so things can be customized in unexpected ways.
If you have any ideas, please ask me, I am Always happy to give something a try!
A little about me;
I am married and have 3 boys, 15, 11 and 2 years old.
Our youngest, Axel, is the reason I fell in love with awareness.
He is special needs and has a lengthy list of conditions, including several rare conditions.
Spreading awareness for him quickly became a BIG deal to me, then I realized that it just was not enough. I began to create awareness shirts for all conditions and causes.
While I want people to be aware of my guys issues, so they can use that information elsewhere, I also want to be able to help others spread their story, too.
