Anna Lindsey's Sewing Basket is a small cottage business in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. I was blessed with two grandmothers that were skilled at many types of needlework. With the their help, I started sewing small projects for my dolls at the age of nine. My love of sewing, knitting, crocheting and all crafting continued to grow from there. For the past thirty years I've spent my time working full time as a teacher/school administrator, working all positions at a summer camp and raising my three wonderful sons. Over the years I have sewed, knitted crocheted and dabbled in many other crafts, making things for my family and friends. My time was always limited, yet now that I'm retired I have time to do my favorite pastimes. Thus, with the encouragement of family and friends I have chosen to continue to share my love of handmade items by producing clothing and items to share with you, your families and friends!
