I began work at the Santa Barbara arts and craft show by the beach ( which I did for some twelve years during which I was appointed THE PRESIDENT of the show ) I meet interior designer's at the beach show who purchase my large ceramic vases I was making at the time - they were turning my work into their lamps ! I could do that ! So I did - open the Anthony Paul Studio in 1985 , making wrought iron art for the rich in this area. I earn enough to BUY A HOUSE IN SANTA BARBARA ! ! I put my business behind the 1890 Victorian home and go to work . . . In 2006 I wake up to the wife telling me a “story” that I had been in the hospital in the ICU for THREE WEEKS with an infection on MY BRAIN - HA ! Good one I replied, having ZERO recollection of having been anywhere but home . . .recovery was slow and I was aging - I'm now 62. Most dudes DIE from Encephalitis , now I have a seven year old little boy , and I weave these cool wall hangings , I've sold my work all my life , and I'd like to try that again - I'm experienced as hell.
