Rob & Ricky are on the show circuit!

posted November 18, 2012   category » Traveling Fools
Boy, when Rob & Ricky get the "show bug" they are traveling fools.  They were in Morgantown last weekend; this weekend it was Pittsburgh, PA; and they plan to be in Greensboro, NC next weekend.

Rob is a hand washing guru and Ricky is so cute you can't help but smile.

I just finishing make a new batch of Pet's soap - we can't seem to keep that one on the shelf.  I also made the proto type for our pet refresher spray and can't wait for all the Milk Soap gang to give their opinion!

posted November 2, 2012   category » Big day for the NEW website!

It is like watching a movie in fast forward at Appalachian Milk Soap right now.  The big day has arrived for the new website to go live!!  Thank goodness, we have an excellent team of techy guys working on the computer issues. Susan is working hard to make sure the descriptions sound so good that you just HAVE to buy our products. My job is to make sure that we have enough of all those wonderful products on hand to sell.  Stop by our new website (www.appmilksoap.com) and watch as it continues to blossom.

A Crafter's Life for me!

posted October 26, 2012   category » A Crafter's Life for me!
Taking a breather from all the shows - now it is time for catch up!  We had been in production mode right before the show season hit hard and heavy.  Off to the shows we went, leaving our precious newly made soap to cure.  Two months later and now it is time to box soap.  Susan and I have been folding boxes, filling boxes with cured soap, and loading/straightening shelves as fast as we can.  We even bribed Susan's daughter, Jodi, to join the fun.  So far we have completed packaging over 4,000 bars of soap and we are not done yet!  Isn't it fun to be a crafter!!
