The Redlands United Church of Christ holds Art for Heaven's Sake to support art and the community. In the beginning, the show was intended as a fundraiser showcasing local talent. The first event was held in a private home and featured five local artists. This year's show will accommodate seventy artists. Although most selected artists are local, over the years, the reputation of the show has spread. Submissions now come from artists from all over the western states. These submissions are juried to ensure a selection fine art representing a wide range of media.
