ARTwood artisan Bruce Lemler founded ARTwood after the devastation of Hurricane Sandy left his home in the mountains of Northern New Jersey surrounded with fallen trees. Where others saw wrecked land, he saw beauty and opportunity, utilizing the damaged trees to create locally, lovingly hand-crafted reclaimed wood home furnishings and accessories. He salvaged fallen trees on his land and cleared wood from whomever needed fallen or dead trees removed. Now based in Wisconsin, the variety of local wood continues to amaze Bruce and inform his wide variety of home furnishing and accessory products.
