Band Bio for Audentia

This young band has been evolving for almost 11 years starting with singer/songwriter and rhythm guitar player Jasmine Parker. 10 years ago and wrote her first song 9 years ago, in the past 10 years she has had over 400 performances at fairs, festivals, ballparks, plays, and clubs with the largest crowd being just over 6,000. Jasmine is 16 years old.

Back in June of 2012 we started building the band. We found some band members and they were good but not quite at the level we were looking for, so we continued to search for the right fit.

In October of 2012, we found our lead guitar player Josh Ybarra and it was one of the tuning points for this band. Josh is nineteen years old and started playing guitar when he was very young. Josh has always been turned on by rock and blues. Josh started playing in some cover bands when he was 14, but never liked being a total cover musician so he joined a Thrash metal band when he was 16. Josh received a full ride musical scholarship to one of the best private boarding schools in the country.

We had to replace our bass player this past June and our new bass player Dylan Ihde is another great fit. Dylan is sixteen years old and started playing bass 7 years ago. Music is his whole world, and has been since he was a young boy. As far as his taste in music goes: It ranges from reggae, to heavy metal, to jazz, to alt rock and beyond. Dylan tries to have appreciation for all forms of music.

Last but not least, our drummer Bill Clint 18 years old started playing drums at 6 years old and has the same passion as the rest of the members have for music. Bill’s taste for music is rock, alternative rock.

This year so far they have played The Apple Blossom Festival Wenatchee WA, Louie G’s in Fife twice, The Live Room Sumner 4 times, The back Stage and Grill Tacoma, The Swiss Tacoma 3 times, 2.0 Café in Bothel, Studio 7 Seattle, won the Battle in the Orchard University Place, a benefit for the Fish Food Bank with Maurice the Fish Records, a benefit for a heart transplant patient, a benefit for the walk to fight cancer, and Night out Seattle. As you can see this band is young with a ton of experience about 39 years combined.
