In case you are wondering what the difference between essential oils and essences is allow me to elaborate. The key difference between the two is that an essence is just that, the core of what makes a plant a plant, mostly the scent, however with a plant essence you can do so much more then with an essential oil. For starters you can cook with them, you don't have to worry about it staining clothes, if you place it on your skin you are far less likely to break out as the liquid will evaporate leaving the scent behind.
