Hi, I'm Cindy Tauer-Eckart, aka Austin Artist 007.
I studied at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas, The Art League of Houston, and the University of Houston. My favorite artists besides myself, are Edmund Leighton; Norman Rockwell, Claude Monet, and ancient cave artists!
Petroglyphs and pictographs have always fascinated me and my artwork is inspired by these ancient paintings. When I paint I travel back in time to those simplistic and frightening times. I imagine what life must have been like back when the world was a much simpler place, and yet it took so much courage and skill just to survive each day.
