The show will feature vendors offering items ranging from rare antiques to modern collectibles. The club will operate a charity booth selling donated dolls and doll-related items, with proceeds going to support SafePlace of Austin and the Austin Children's Shelter. This year, the club is offering two free informal oral doll appraisals to anyone purchasing an entrance ticket. In addition, once every hour, there will be free informative presentations on dolls, including modern ball joint dolls, American Girl dolls, tips on how to differentiate antique dolls from modern reproductions, and a demonstration of how to string dolls. Doll collecting ranks as one of the most popular hobbies in the United States, and this family friendly show offers something for everyone, from serious collectors to those who just like to “play dolls.” Admission is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12 years of age.
