I am an artist out of Canyon de Chelly, growing up and around the beautiful canyons. I began beading for my mom and aunties when I was in third grade, i was 7 years old. The next year I start learning how to do the design part of the necklace or bracelet. The rug deisgns I do are from the famous Navajo Rug designs. Colors come from me thinking about the canyon or our the colors of our land. I usually go with the Natural colors which are turquoise, black, beige and brown. Each design has its own meaning, the side of the necklace I use heishies, natural stones. The ends arefro wire and Sterling Silver cones. About twelve years ago, I started doing th whole necklaces myself and went into business selling them at shows within the four corners soo hop to go out in the states for many more to see my artwork.
